I’m a philosopher of mind and perception whose research interests include the metaphysics of perceptual experience, the nature of perceptual representation, the senses, and the spatiotemporal structure of experience.

I currently teach philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, where I’ve been a Teaching Fellow since 2017, and in 2019 will be starting a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Oslo on the Perceiving Representations project, in which I will be investigating the implications of the perception of music and pictures for the philosophy of mind and metaphysics of perception more generally.
